August's Patterns of the Month
Pick your yarn and your pattern and save 15% on your purchase of both!
We're big Berroco fans around here & we're happy to offer two selections from their fall line for our August patterns of the month.
How about something nice for your favorite gentleman?
Devon, from Norah Gaughan Men's Booklet, from Berroco Yarns
I have found it difficult to pick patterns for the men in my life and Berroco has jumped in this season to make it easier on me. This pullover is knit in Peruvia Quick, which is a wonderfully soft bulky weight wool from the peruvian highlands. It features a cable pattern along the center front - not too complicated for TV knitting and just enough interesting material to keep you going. Devon has a matching hat with the same cable pattern, should you end up with some leftover yarn :)
I have to confess, I may make this one for myself. The smallest size, 36", would be a really great, loose-fitting pullover to snuggle up with this winter.

Our second pattern for this month is another great sweater for the "tween" in your life.
Ferris, from Berroco Comfort Book for Girls, Berroco Book #291
Ferris is a great, swingy cardigan for the fall, featuring more "grown up" details than most of the younger knits we have in-store. Comfort DK provides beautiful stitch definition for the front cable details while staying soft in your hands (and it's machine-wash!). The sizing is just right - you can see the size 6 (28") on this model - ranging from 26" to 32".

Alright! That's it for August - I hope you see something you like! Let me know if you have any questions about either design or the yarn - info@sageyarn.com
